Integrity Builds Relationships

When Bill Heifner founded Renier commercial construction in 1980, he was guided by three lessons his father taught him. To this day, the core values are: 1) Tell the truth, 2) Live up to your promises, and 3) Admit and fix your mistakes.  That's why all of our business comes from repeat customers and their referrals.  And why customers become friends.

Since 1999, Renier building construction company has dedicated itself to the design-build approach for owner-occupied facilities.  It is, quite simply, a better value than design-bid-build, and we have success stories from every client who's experienced the benefits. From headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, Renier has grown with its clients, building facilities wherever they expand in a variety of industries including automotive, office, industrial, warehouse, transportation, health services, and retail.

Now celebrating over 39 years in business, "Integrity" has themed Renier's company culture since the beginning.  The entire team believes and behaves accordingly, always doing the right thing, even when no one's watching.

Our Manifesto

We are committed to performance, not excuses.

We are committed to being on time and on budget, not most of the time, but always.

We are committed to quality construction, at a very personal level, as a reflection of the company and all of the Renier associates.

We are committed to the Design-Build Partnering approach as the best possible way to provide the highest quality at the lowest possible cost.

We are committed to turning our business relationships into personal friendships, which demands performance at the highest level.

We expect the best from our trade contractors and demand that they perform at the same high standards we set for ourselves.

We will not accept late, over-budget, lack of communication or poor quality; and set our goal at making the building experience at Renier more than satisfactory. We expect it to be rewarding and enjoyable.
